In 2004 I didn't have many plans for my life.
I was working for an amazing company and was
comfortable with the idea of staying in the Tri-Cities
and attending the local community college.
In January of 2005 I decided to apply for
Brigham Young University - Idaho (BYU-I)
and was accepted to start in the Fall.
I packed up and moved into my first apartment
with Rachel Grover.
Our other four roommates where seniors.
They were a fun group of girls.
As most college apartments
it was small, but perfect.
My initial hope
was to get into the Nursing Program.
Sadly, yet okay, I was not accepted into the program and decided to declare my major to be Health Science.
My fifth semester in school I decided to tack on a Medical Assistant minor. This only lasted one semester.
In the middle of Medical Law and Ethics
I felt strong impression that I needed to move in with
my brother and his family. (Thankfully his wife was okay with it)
The summer of 2007 I moved to Seattle Washington
and had one of the best summers of my life!
Just look at these kids. It was a blast to watch them
grow up!

Towards the end of the summer I made
another life altering decision.
I would serve a Full-Time Mission for the
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
It worked out perfectly that I only had a
couple more classes to complete
and I would receive my associates degree.
When I returned from my mission I went
back to school ten days later. During my mission
(and with a little help from my mom) I decided
to take education classes when I got home.
Five semesters after I got home
from my mission I completed my course work
on campus. The only thing left was
student teaching.
My parents and I decided that instead
of coming back to Rexburg, after
student teaching, that I would
walk in December instead of April.
I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada for
student teaching. LOVED IT!!
Now the waiting game begins. Job hunting
is the new adventure.
